As part of the Commemorations of the City of Portimão, the inauguration of the exhibition of the awarded works and the awarding of prizes to the winners of the 22nd Photographic Race of Portimão, held this year in person and online, is scheduled for December 11th, at 5:00 p.m. , at the Museum of Portimão. This initiative, organized by the Municipality and Museum of Portimão and to be inaugurated on the Day of the City, registered in the aforementioned two modalities, the registration of 131 photography lovers, not only from the Algarve, but from various parts of the Country and from 10 nationalities, giving a strong international dimension to this initiative. During the face-to-face test that took place in the Municipality of Portimão, on May 14th, the participants had the opportunity to register, through a current look and their creativity, 3 photographs on each of the 8 themes proposed and delivered throughout the day, on cultural and natural heritage, experiences, people and environments of Portimão. Closed on Sundays and holidays ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: Observing Nature, I can find beauty in everything around us, giving me the peace and tranquility I need. I try to transpose to the canvas what I see, admire and love, sometimes letting myself be carried away by my own imagination. I hope to be able to convey this same tranquility to everyone who can enjoy this exhibition of mine. ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Teresa Martins, I was born in 1953 and I am from Angola. I have several hobbies, including painting, which became a passion about 25 years ago, where I started with Prof. Fedross Imani. Over this time, I have been perfecting the techniques of graphite, charcoal, watercolor and oil (brush and spatula), with the spatula being my favourite. I have held several exhibitions since 1998 until now, doing them mainly because of the pleasure I have in exhibiting my work and sharing with others the joy and passion I feel for my works.

These are some of the questions that will be present in this workshop that aims to challenge participants to the imaginative experience of written creation intended for the theater scene. Armando Nascimento Rosa (Évora, 1966), playwright, essayist and singer-songwriter, with about thirty original dramatic works, some of them awarded and/or translated into seven languages, with scenic presentations in several European and American cities. He began his career as a playwright in 1990 at Teatro da Politécnica, in Lisbon, at the invitation of its founder, director Mário Feliciano. It has an enormous power of contamination and unique capabilities that allow transformation, communication and enchantment. In this proposal dedicated to the technique of lyrical singing, various forces of Voz em Canto come together. Voz em Canto intends to highlight and publicize the unique beauty that lyrical singing encourages. It is proposed a journey that will cover 4 types of voices: Soprano, Mezzo-Soprano, Tenor and Bass, accompanied by different instrumental formations. It will be a tribute to dialogues with a program full of duets. After so much time of human and emotional isolation, caused by covid-19, it is increasingly necessary to promote rapprochement and communication. The four spaces selected for the execution of the various musical programs are based, above all, on the need to decentralize culture in the territory of Lagoa.
