The entertainment program for the bathing season is returning to Largo Eng.º Duarte Pacheco and thus, the “downtown” of Albufeira is once again the privileged stage for local artists. This year’s program of “Bathing Season Entertainment” starts on the 19th of June, with a performance by FUETE – Academia de Dança de Albufeira and, the following week, on the 26th, the Associação de Capoeiragem Malta do Sul takes to the stage, thus closing , the schedule for the month of June. The program continues in the following months until September, always on Wednesdays, starting at 9:30 pm. A very special time for Albufeira artists to share their performative creations with the public.

Misericórdia Church hosts Exhibition “Other Worlds and Kalasha” by Ana Abrão Scheduled to open on the 5th of July at 6pm at the Igreja da Misericórdia, in Silves, the exhibition “Outros Mundos e Kalasha” can be visited until the 31st of December 2024. This is a unique opportunity to explore human diversity and beauty through the lens of talented photographer and explorer, Ana Abrão. Ana Abrão, with her sensitive and curious gaze, travels the world capturing the essence of people and their traditions. The exhibition “Other Worlds and Kalasha” came after the release of her two books. The first, “Other Worlds”, is the result of a year of immersion in Asian culture, while “Kalasha” reveals the daily life of the Kalash, a polytheistic community in the mountains of northern Pakistan.
The Grand Jeté International Dance Awards is back in Lagoa and at the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium between the 11th, 12th and 13th of July with its 5th edition. The Grand Jeté International Dance Awards is an International Dance Competition in Classical Ballet and Contemporary style. It is an event with the aim of promoting the art of dance, allowing young dancers to showcase their talent and connect with audiences, providing MasterClasses and opportunities for education and scholarships at prestigious Dance Institutions. This International Dance Competition welcomes students and dancers of all nationalities between the ages of 5 and 25.
