Her work is essentially descriptive with a great predominance of landscapes with bright and contrasting colors. She has a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate degree in an editorial field. From a very early age, she felt a great fascination for photography, paying special attention to contrasts in light, color and luminosity. In December 2015, she did a small initiation workshop in drawing and watercolor and, in March 2016, she started to paint as a self-taught person. If until then photography had fascinated her with all its nuances, now, picking up the brushes and sliding the ink across the paper, trying to reproduce color, light and brightness, became a much greater and more passionate challenge. On the 6th, the day before Faro Municipality Day, the celebrations begin with a concert that also marks the start of the festival. António Zambujo, Buba Espinho and Luís Trigacheiro will share the stage at Largo da Sé, at 10pm, with free entry. The show combines repertoires and influences of three artists with Alentejo roots whose origins cross Fado and Cante Alentejano.

The Mediterranean Diet Fair returns to Tavira, between the 7th and 10th of September. This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the approval of the inscription of the seven countries that presented the Mediterranean Diet candidacy for Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) of Humanity, by UNESCO, in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan, on December 4, 2013 , and the 20th anniversary of the Convention for the Safeguard of the PCI, Paris 17 October 2003. The Mediterranean Diet, whose representative community in Portugal is Tavira, is a living heritage of the entire country, in line with UNESCO Conventions and with increasing national and international relevance. It is investigated and studied by different sciences, being a legacy of the civilizations that originated our cultural identity, language and ways of living, producing and eating, essential to the valorization and strengthening of regional economies.
