The Carvoeiro Night Black & White Event is back with its 7th edition on June 18th for another night of great entertainment between 8:30 pm and 3:00 am, with free entry and Dress Code: Preto & Branco, Carvoeiro Noite Black & White once again marks the beginning of the great festivals of the Algarve summer.
In 2014, the first edition of the Carvoeiro Noite Black & White event took place timidly. The objective of this entertainment and tourist attraction project emerged with the aim of strengthening hotel occupancy in the municipality of Lagoa at a time not yet considered high in Algarve tourism, and increasing Carvoeiro’s tourist notoriety at national and international level.
8 years later, with a forced stop in 2020 and 2021 due to the Covid pandemic, this initiative by the Municipality of Lagoa, is no longer just the first big summer party in the Algarve, becoming what is probably the biggest summer party that takes place annually in the Algarve region, receiving more than 30,000 national and foreign visitors in a single night.
As in the last editions, and to make up for the lack of parking, Lagoa City Council will maintain the regular line of free buses that will connect Carvoeiro and the various parking lots planned in Lagoa: Fatacil, Intermarché, Apolónia, Aldi and the Gramital (land that is located in front of Aldi). The opening hours of the bus line will be maintained, that is, there will be round-trip buses uninterruptedly between 18:00 and 04:00.
White and black are mandatory and transversal to the various artistic manifestations, ranging from dance to street entertainment, with particular emphasis on music of different genres.
The Carvoeiro Noite Black & White event will have several animation scenarios spread over different areas of Carvoeiro. As in previous editions, the start is scheduled for 20:30, with a fado show in Largo da Praia, and ends at 03:00, on Carvoeiro beach, converted into a huge dance floor, to the sound of the best current pop house hits and from dance music.
