Last days of May with luxury programming at Mákina de Cena

A new cycle of programming and a concert with two of the biggest names in national jazz will mark this end of the month. May is already in the final stretch, but Mákina de Cena still has many surprises reserved for this end of the month. After 3 weeks at high speed, marked by the presence at the Mochila festival – with the premiere of Spotlight and with the successful replacement of Viagem ao Centro da Terra, which found a full and enthusiastic house at the LAMA BOX in Faro – as well as by another stage of the circulation of Samothrácias, this time at the António Silva Municipal Auditorium, in Cacém, at the invitation of Teatromosca; Mákina de Cena is preparing to end May in style. Plasticine Band Announces Tour In Portugal

On the next 28th and 29th of April, Plasticine will be in Lisbon and Torres Vedras to present their latest album, entitled “The Most Beautiful Skies”. On the 28th at the Bang Venue in Torres Vedras and on the 29th at the Village Underground in Lisbon. After opening the Festival MED 2022 in Loulé and a theme nominated for the 2021 IPMA Awards in the Best Instrumental Performance and Audience Choice categories, “The Most Beautiful Springs” tour will invite the public to challenge sonic boundaries through a tapestry music composed of progressive rock, funk, jazz and soul. Mostra da Primavera – Celebration of April 25th

Tavira, representative community of the Mediterranean Diet as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, hosts, between the 22nd and 25th of April, in the downtown area of the city (Rua do Cais, Jardim do Coreto and Palmeiras, Mercado da Ribeira), the IX Mostra da Primavera . Approximately 85 exhibitors and 60 stands present a variety of traditional products and handicrafts characteristic of the municipality and region, thus enhancing the local essence and authenticity. Mákina de Cena Programming second half of April

After two unforgettable sessions of Samothrace in Paris during the Easter weekend, Mákina de Cena continues to carburete for the month of April at great speed. Next weekend, Casa da Mákina will host the Theater Workshop “O Movimento da Palavra”, conducted by Carolina Santos. On the 20th, it’s time to head out of doors to Teatro das Figuras in Faro, for the premiere of the play “A Rapariga da Gabardine Amarela”, the final result of the reactivation of Sin-cera – UALG’s university theater group, in co-production with the Scene Machine and the Theater of Figures. As part of the International Jazz Day, which takes place on the 30th of April, Mákina de Cena is part of the official Unesco celebrations, with 2 unmissable shows: On the 23rd, the MdC Jazz Club receives a luxury quartet led by Desidério Lázaro (Saxophone) , with Mário Delgado on electric guitar, Cícero Lee on electric bass and Carlos Miguel on drums.
