DATE AND TIME CHANGE – Seventeen years in the life of a group is, according to statistics, a long age, since, with the exception of some musical projects, the vast majority are not even half.
In these years, Al Mouraria has gone through several moments: good and gratifying emotions on the ‘road’, renovations, exits of elements giving space for others to enter – but the most important thing was to keep the hard core, the ‘backbone’ of the group.
This new work (the seventh of the group), which aimed to mark his return to the stage after some internal reformulations, ended up being conditioned by the pandemic Covid 19, which caused its completion to be delayed some months.
‘Com Vida’, the chosen title, ends up turning into a pun, since, by passing on the message that the band is alive, it also suggests the invitation made to about two dozen artists to participate in the disc recording both in the Algarve as in Lisbon, places where this new album was built that will debut on the Cineteatro stage.
