After winning the most prestigious freshman programs in the history of Brazilian radio, such as Paulo Gracindo, Renato Murce and Ary Barroso, singer Alaíde Costa became a professional crooner at Dancing Avenida, in Rio de Janeiro in 1956, the same year she debuted. as a composer, recording on her first 78 rpm the song you have to pay, in partnership with Airton Amorim. Success came the following year with the recording of the second album that gave him the award for best interpreter of Brazilian popular music that year and opened the doors of radio stations and the main recording companies in the country.
In 2022, he released the praised album “O que meu callos say about me”, produced by Emicida, Marcus Preto and arrangements by Pupilo, with new songs by João Bosco, Ivan Lins, Joyce, Fátima Guedes, Nando Reis and others.
