The work of reinterpreting the statue of D. Sebastião by João Cutileiro from the Gatilho Group and the students of the 12th grade D class at the Júlio Dantas School. The 18th of May marks the 50th anniversary of the inauguration of the statue of João Cutileiro in Praça Gil Eanes, a work that at the time was very controversial, as the use of stone was done in an innovative way and the image of the king was not the “ conventional". Over the years, it has gained its place both in the city and in the hearts of locals and tourists. A cultural note is created that lasts since January, which has a multicultural, inclusive aspect and is generated by multiple partners working for culture. Sofia Monteiro. Miguel Gloria, Joao Santos. Cristina Silva, Paulo Libanio, Paulo Rodrigues, Maria Helena Francisco. 12th grade students Cátia Cardoso, Léo Alface, Diana Gonçalves, Delia Popovici, Iara Batista, João Franco, Leonor Silva, Lola Petrosino, Maddox Bicho, Matias Ferreira, Nicoleta Mirian, Olesia Vinyk,…
