Inspired by the book “Artur”, a little chick, with no space inside its egg, spins, tears and breaks to start a new journey, discovering the big, the small, the hot, the cold, the colorful, the alive and feeling curious, fear or peace. The children and the actors are all Arthur and they explore this entry into the world through movement and music.
Of Italian origin, Albina Petrolati has lived in Portugal since 2002, where she has worked in the area of creative dance with several institutions. She participated in the European project “Leonardo” in Toulouse, as a creative dance monitor at the Cultural Center of Saint Cyprien, and in the artistic residency of the “Opus Tutti” project by the Companhia de Música Teatral, supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, in Lisbon. She was monitor of the Educational Service of the Centro de Artes de Sines and coordinator of dance activities.
Initially linked to graphic design, Maria Gallet decided to change the course of her life and dedicate herself to natural therapies. She attended several courses in massage and natural therapies, trained as a doula, a childbirth educator, a breastfeeding counselor and a menstrual cycle instructor, starting to work in these areas. Since 2017 she has participated as an interpreter in some performances, such as “Linhas Dismontadas” by Rémi Gallet and “Mar Adentro” by Madalena Victorino and Rémi Gallet.
