“ADAO – Fora de Portas” is the name of the exhibition that presents works by the collective of resident artists of the ADAO Association.
This exhibition brings together a set of artistic pieces that reflect the construction and constant dynamics of a space like ADAO, a place that serves as a creative patchwork, open to multiple ways of thinking and doing. If the space in which it was established, in its genesis, was the hostel of a structure that aimed to ensure social security, fighting against and nullifying the possibilities of geographic combustion, we could say that, paradoxically, one of its intentions was to “set fire” and make artistic thought cultural fuel and, through its production and dissemination, illuminate the interests of communities.
