This workshop is aimed at all those interested in writing poetry, in their production contexts and in their processes. Starting from poetic and theoretical texts that will cover not only different literary periods and different styles, but also issues related to the sex of those who write, we intend to sensitize the participants to the different types of literary writing, to the (possible) relationship between poetry and sexual difference, for reflection on writing practices and for the potentialities of language, in its experimental aspect (the exploration of the effects of musicality, for example) or of exercising citizenship. “Why do you write?”, “What is poetry for?”, “How is the poem born?”, “Is there” female “poetry?” – are some of the topics to be addressed, in a debate that we want to be able to contribute, in this enrichment of the reflection on the creative language, for the enrichment of the world.
Participants are expected to produce poems, challenged by the texts and proposals previously presented.
