In the year in which he celebrates 13 years since his first album was published, Desidério Lázaro takes the stage to relive more than a decade of editions alongside his audience. In this interpersonal journey there will be room for new and old themes. Oblivion, the 9th album in his own name by the Algarve author, appears as the concluding album of the tetralogy started with Samsara(2012), followed by Moving(2018) and Homegrown(2019), whose dominant theme was the philosophical reflection on the human condition and respective emotions .
All tracks are composed by the saxophonist, with the exception of the song Eclipse, composition also credited to the singer Mimi Froes. Praised by critics and the public thanks to the honesty of the writing and its melodies, which give it an identity of its own.
On this album, Desidério Lázaro is accompanied by virtuoso guitarist Mário Delgado and the always solid Cícero Lee on bass and Carlos Miguel on drums.
