ESENCIAL is a program that talks about transitions. Five characters who interpret, who dream, an adventurous journey that will take us to remote places where the vital decision will be to follow the simplest path.
This new show by Vaivén Circo is presented with a staging inspired by the “Waldorf Rainbow”, a toy made up of pillars and arches that provide a spectacular setting. We are facing an architecture in transformation capable of reinventing itself, as human beings do in search of their progress. A scenario of poetic nuances, ideal for creating a magical atmosphere where balance and subtlety work, which can lead from chaos to harmony in a few seconds.
We want to escape the collapse that human beings suffer when faced with complicated situations that they do not understand. In those moments for which we don’t know how to find explanations, far from adding more complexity, we try to find the essential. We keep the ideal of beauty and simplicity as the original inspiration when it comes to approaching the aesthetics of the show. Less is more.
