Adaptation to Climate Change in the Algarve is the theme of the exhibition that will be open to the public at the Cultural Center of Vila do Bispo, from 2 to 27 November.
This exhibition by AMAL – Algarve Intermunicipal Community, which is based on the work developed under the Intermunicipal Plan for Adaptation to Climate Change, aims to identify the strategic options and adaptation measures necessary to increase the resilience of the territory and populations to the effects of climate change and reduce the vulnerability of the Algarve to its impacts.
Climate change is increasingly a concern worldwide, with greenhouse gas emissions, mostly due to human action, being responsible for profound changes in the atmosphere and changing weather patterns.
The Intermunicipal Climate Change Adaptation Plan is accessible at www.climaaa.com
The exhibition can be visited from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Admission is free.
