The Municipality of Faro will once again promote between the 2nd and 5th of June the “Faro Jovem”, an associative exhibition that includes several initiatives, namely open classes, demonstrations, workshops or shows that will take place in various parts of the city.
This event, which marks its sixth edition this year after the last one took place in 2016, aims to publicize the work of the Municipality’s associations, namely those that make up the Municipal Youth Council, a structure that aims at strategic planning for the intervention of young people in the participation civic, cultural and political.
The initiatives included in “Faro Jovem“ will begin with the Municipal Youth Council, which will take place at 6:00 pm on the 2nd of June in the Chapel of the Municipal Museum of Faro.
On the following day, the EU Youth Dialogue – ANJE Europa session will take place in the main hall of Paços do Concelho, a project that aims to promote the inclusion of young people (equal access to opportunities, the job market, training, etc.) listening to them, recognizing their aspirations, motivations, creativity, talents and needs, actively incorporating them into the dynamics carried out in the youth field, in line with the EU Youth Strategy (2019-2027). Participation in this session requires prior registration.
On the 4th and 5th of June, Saturday and Sunday, Jardim Manuel Bivar becomes the epicenter of “Faro Jovem”, with several free activities promoted by various associations and entities in the municipality, as well as entertainment, performances or screenings.
