In the 4th episode of the program 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼 𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗼 – 𝗘𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗰𝗼𝗺 𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼́𝗿𝗶𝗮, our guest is Giovanni Tedesco who comes to talk to us about the architect Nicolau Nasoni.
In this program, Giovanni Tedesco focuses on the life of Nicolau Nasoni, his arrival in Porto and the influence of his works in the North.
𝗚𝗶𝗼𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶 𝗧𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗧𝗲𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗼 of the Portuguese language (103/110 values). In 2012 he received a doctorate in History of Portuguese Art, at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto, with the thesis Nicolau Nasoni: training of a painter and an artist of ephemeral art in Italy (1691-1723), unanimously approved with distinction . In 2013, the thesis work was awarded by the Irmandade dos Clérigos, for its investigative contribution and new discoveries about the artistic figure of Nicolau Nasoni. Since 2015 he has been a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Minho, Department of Romanesque Studies, where he teaches several courses, between undergraduate and master’s degrees, in the Italian language and art history. He is a member of the board of directors of ASCIPDA (Associação Socio Cultural Italos de Portugal Dante Alighieri), where he is responsible, examiner and evaluator for Italian Language Certification (PLIDA). Since 2014 he is a member of the group that coordinates the research project related to the genealogical and anthropological study on Nicolau Nasoni, financed by the Irmandade do Clérigos.
