Synopsis: Kamishibai means “paper theater”. It is a traditional Japanese form of storytelling, which involves the use of picture cards in a wooden box.
Come watch and learn more about this way of telling stories that greatly entertained Japan and still entertains thousands of children and adults around the world.
Joana Charneco has a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education and 1st Cycle teaching, with a specialization in the Art of Storytelling from ISEC.

Over the years she has learned more about children’s literature and the art of storytelling, having completed numerous training courses in the area and to which she dedicates many hours of study.
She is passionate about stories, which are always present in her life (hers and others’ stories) because “after all, we are all made of stories”.
