Do you like art or artistic expression, music and dance and believe that they are important tools for the development of children (and adults)?
Then this training could be for you.
i.Lab Mil Birds is an immersive work in Children’s Art, created by a company with a vast history in the areas of music, dance and interaction with children, the Companhia de Música Teatral. The one-week workshop is primarily intended for kindergarten teachers, teachers, musicians and other artists and involves the preparation of a play using situations of musical practice (voice and movement) and plastic expression with specific elements from the “Thousands” universe. Birds”. “Mil Birds” is a project/installation that was on display in Lisbon, at the Store in the Green Capital of Europe and which involved schools and day care centers, museums, libraries and families with the production of orizuros, paper birds created with the art of origami. In Japanese tradition, the bird is a symbol of peace and happiness.
In this training, which has a total cost of €100.00 (€60.00 with a Friend Card), it is intended to experience the creation and presentation of an experience aimed at families with babies, as well as contact with various professionals who deal with early childhood in different contexts, expanding the range of practical and theoretical knowledge in the context of artistic intervention in early childhood.
On the other hand, the “laboratory” will allow access to crossover experiences between artistic languages, developing processes of initiative and reflection in the context of artistic creation for children and – very important – linking them with greater ecological awareness.
Mil Birds is a co-production by Cine-Teatro Louletano and Companhia de Música Teatral, following up the GermInArte Project supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation (2015-2018).
