The Teia D’Impulsos Association promotes next Saturday, May 6th, the first edition of the Inclusive Arts Festival, taking place from 3 pm at TEMPO – Teatro Municipal de Portimão.
The objective of the initiative is to publicize the work that various entities develop in the Algarve in terms of art and integration, representing “an ode to difference and the use of the arts to include all citizens, including people with physical or mental disabilities, in need. economy, migrant communities, infoexcluded communities, or those in a situation of social vulnerability”, according to the organization, which invited institutions from across the region to share their special projects.
The show includes inclusive dance performances, with people with and without disabilities, from ECOS (Teia D’Impulsos project), NECI – Specialized Nucleus for the Including Citizen, Algarvia Association (AAPACDM) and Academia Dança Mais.
In turn, ACASO – Cultural and Social Support Association of Olhão presents an artistic performance inspired by the poem “É Urgente o Amor” by Eugénio de Andrade, while MIX Dance Studio, from the East and Friends Support Center, will take traditional dances from other countries to the TEMPO stage, with Magic with Impact.
Entry to the show is free and tickets can be picked up at the TEMPO ticket office, starting this Wednesday, between 1 pm and 6 pm.
