JACARANDÁ was formed in Lisbon in 2019 by ALBAN HALL (vocals, harmonica, flute, percussions) and PHILIPPE LENZINI (guitar, percussions). Inspired by the universe and the sound of the Mississippi Blues, they take its minimalist and shamanic cadence, electrifying it and mixing it with other influences, ranging from tribal music to psychedelic rock. In 2019, together with bassist Gonçalo Zagalo, the band released their first eponymous EP, followed by a single “Home” in February 2022 and the last single “Wolves and Gasoline” in November 2022. Jacarandá have played in numerous concerts in Portugal and will record their first LP in 2023.
