Jared Peters trio
Jared Peters Trumpet
Alein Stenbert Guitar
Rafa Torres Bass
Growing up in rural Northwest Pennsylvania, Jared was first inspired to perform music after hearing a Louis Armstrong recording in a bookstore. Although determined to perform for a career at a younger age, Jared didn’t begin any kind of formal training in music until around the age of 16 when he began trumpet lessons with Dr. Jennifer Dearden, and later with Mr. Robert Dolwick.
Jared studied at The Dana School of Music with Dr. Christopher Krummel in addition to studying jazz with Mr. Steve Enos and Mr. Jack Shantz for a short while, as well as Mr. David Kana, a legendary Aebersold Camp Educator and local legend of the Ohio and Pennsylvania Jazz scene. It was among his numerous performances by him with Kana that he would perform some of his earliest performances alongside other well known performers from Northeast Ohio.
Additionally Jared has performed with the Greenville Symphony, Skatch Anderssen Big Band in Cleveland, and with his quartet multiple times at Hollywood Gaming Casino in Austintown, as well as many assorted events and at various venues with his other groups. Further performance experiences include 3 summer contracts at Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio, where he had the honor to perform for the Lebron James Foundation at their annual event.
Jared currently lives in Sevilla Spain where he is teaching and performing. He performs in his own groups and with other distinguished musicians across Southern Spain. He is also a member of the Assejazz Big Band.
