Born in the United Kingdom, he has lived in the Algarve for several years, where he has developed a great creative activity in the field of painting and jewellery. Her work is essentially descriptive with a great predominance of landscapes with bright and contrasting colors. She frequently exhibits in galleries in the Algarve.
She was born in Mozambique in 1955 and came to Portugal in June 1977.
She has a degree in Modern Languages and Literature, from the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon, and a postgraduate degree in an editorial field.
From a very early age, she felt a great fascination for photography, paying special attention to contrasts in light, color and luminosity.
In December 2015, she did a small initiation workshop in drawing and watercolor and, in March 2016, she started to paint as a self-taught person. If until then photography had fascinated her with all its nuances, now, picking up the brushes and sliding the ink across the paper, trying to reproduce color, light and brightness, became a much greater and more passionate challenge.
In December 2016 and January 2017, she attended two more watercolor workshops at the Marquês de Pombal Foundation in Linda-a-Velha.
Since then, she has participated in several individual exhibitions and group shows. This time she shows her work at República 14 where she will show different themes but with the predominance of the landscape.
