“The São Brás de Alportel Philharmonic Band will once again organize the New Year’s Concert, on January 22, 2023, at 4:30 pm, at the Igreja Matriz de São Brás de Alportel.
The purpose of this concert is to publicize the work of this band, in terms of training musicians and the public, in addition to wishing everyone a good year through music.
Dedicated to original music for bands and music for cinema, this year’s concert features the presence and performance of a group of string instrumentalists (violin and cello), made up of students and teachers from the Center Musical Municipal de Roche la Molière – France, with which there is a musical interchange. This partnership is also part of the existing twinning between the municipalities of São Brás de Alportel and Roche la Molière.
A repertoire of various musical styles and genres will be presented, not forgetting the traditional Radetzky march.
Admission is free.
