At a time when Portugal is submerged in a climate of great political tension and social unrest, the figure who holds the highest political office opts for self-exile and crosses the seas in search of silence, solitude and freedom. “Without return” is a reflection on the state of mind, personality and introspection about the worlds experienced by this character developed under the contemporary perspective of the authors.
