“The first broadcast of Sangue Eléctrico was aired on the 8th of July 2013 on RUA FM – Rádio Universitária do Algarve with the purpose of publicizing what was being done again in the underground Rock ‘n’ Roll environment and adjacent areas, over the years it underwent minor changes in content until, in the middle of the pandemic, there was a need for a change of direction, to make room for what was left behind in music, to pay attention to what was done from the mid-twentieth century to the nowadays, encompass other musical genres (reggae, jazz, electronics…), purpose that has been fulfilled since March 2021. Now it’s time to try another format (outside of the radio), that’s how BAFO DE BACO came about as the ideal space for this adventure where music will merge with cinema, yes, with cinema, the first (experimental) session will take place tomorrow, the 26th, Thursday, from 11:00 pm.”
