“Angel Eyes” the Ballad written by Matt Dennis, is the theme that serves as the motto for this concert. The Swing of the Great Orchestras is back on stage, in a smooth jazz atmosphere, but not only, as other more vibrant themes like Almost Like Being In Love or You’de Be So Nice to Come Home To, can be heard. Giving voice and life on this special night. Two distinguished guests: the singer Sónia Pinto, one of the hottest voices in Porto, where she toured the intricacies of Clubs and Jazz Schools, to sculpt her jazz tone, but also, her crossover voice, as some refer. Tonight’s second guest is the greatest Portuguese figure in Jazz Harmonica of todays, an instrument that had, in the History of Jazz, one of its greatest exponents in the Belgian Toots Thielmanns. Gonçalo Sousa arrives from Lisbon, also after cementing his knowledge there by the best Schools, and will add his tone to this program.
“Angel Eyes” is the challenge that we send you!
