Between paradigms of love, of the madness of the alienated man, of the present time, an incredible Juliet works with the impossibility of a Romeo with no place in the present. The action takes place in an unreal cemetery, in an unreal Verona, many years after the Shakespearean drama. Juliet, or a woman who thinks she is Juliet, puts flowers every day on her own grave. She has forgotten where Romeo lies – or never knew. She forgot some details of the drama – if she ever knew them. But she keeps alive the idea that everyone but her deserved a worthy place in history. Unraveling emotions, dressed like a widow or dressed in colors, sometimes covering her face with a black net, sometimes assuming it, Julieta breaks the paradigm of eternal Love, starting with not liking herself, and, perhaps, wishing for a ray of love. love that someone wasted and that it felt so good to find.
In contrast, Romeo – the spirit of Romeo, an ethereal and eternal Romeo – appears to him. He believes that he embodies love, but there are going to be some surprises capable of shaking him. And to shake us. The action takes place in the present, for just over an hour, in the scenario that reflects the idealization of the Verona cemetery, made by a Juliet and her meeting with the real Romeo.
