After a long period of confinement, OCS presents a program dedicated to the enjoyment of the Outdoors.
From Mozart we will hear the Opening of D. Giovanni, an opera that portrays the loving adventures of this character who, between seduction and betrayal, decides during an outdoor wedding to ‘entice’ the young bride Zerlina … Then, in a more idyllic context, Delius paints us a sound watercolor of the awakening of Spring and Debussy seduces us with her moonlit night scene.
Schubert and Bizet refer us to the joy of Italian and French popular dances, respectively, and Luiz de Freitas Branco transports us to the Alentejo plains.
