The “Festa do Tango” is back in Lagoa, for another day dedicated to tango. This year, the Carlos do Carmo Auditorium will receive the “Tango Spleen Orquesta” on its stage, on May 27th, at 9 pm. On the same day, at 4:00 pm, an Argentine Tango Workshop will be held, which is free of charge with the purchase of a ticket for the “Tango Spleen Orquesta” Show, and limited to 20 participants.

Participants will be selected in order of arrival of correctly completed forms.
Note: To participate in the workshop, ladies are advised to bring high heels and gentlemen classic shoes.
At the end of the show, at 10:30 pm, the “Tango Spleen Orquesta” will invite the public to participate in a Milonga!

Synopsis: Tango Spleen Orquesta is a refined tango project led by Argentine singer, pianist and composer Mariano Speranza. Based in Milan (Italy), this tango group presents a show composed of classic tango themes with new clothes and also their own compositions. This project has performed more than 800 times in 2 dozen countries, and has already published 5 discographic works: Tango Spleen 2010, Tipico 2012, Canto para Seguir 2015, Contatto 2018 and Vamos a la Distancia 2021.
World-renowned Argentine tenor Marcelo Álvarez invited Tango Spleen Orquesta to his tango recital for 2 memorable performances at Teatro Ópera Novaya in Moscow (Russia) and at Teatro Broad Stage in Santa Monica (USA).
In 2021, the original tango “Fotos Viejas” from the fourth album Contatto was selected for the soundtrack of the film “Histoire d’amor sans titre” produced by Sugarkane Studio for GUCCI.
Currently, Tango Spleen is one of the most requested tango orchestras for international tango festivals: Tarbes, Toulouse, Turin, Edinburgh, Bordeaux, Bielefeld, Blackpool, Odessa, Trieste, Innsbruck, Flensburg, Aix les Bains, Trani, among others.
