Reset.23/24 now begins, the new cycle of contemporary art exhibitions organized by Artadentro in collaboration with the Municipal Museum of Faro, with the simultaneous opening of the exhibitions: “Teresa Ramos- ceramics” and Colisor, an exhibition by Colectivo Artadentro.
Teresa Ramos (Tavira, 1953), lives in Faro where she has her studio. With artistic training at Ar.Co in Lisbon, where she studied Drawing and completed the Advanced Course in Plastic Arts, a school where she also completed the Complete Study Plan in Ceramics that became decisive in her career. In fact, it is in ceramics, especially with the use of liquid porcelain techniques, that Teresa Ramos finds her favorite form of expression.
In this exhibition at the Municipal Museum of Faro, the public will have the opportunity to appreciate the work of one of the most important contemporary Portuguese ceramicists, with pieces created in her characteristic organic style over the years, together with her most recent production, as well as pieces which give a preview of part of the author’s process.
This exhibition is much more than a set of porcelain pieces lined up in a showcase. What will be available to the public is an entire universe, at once strange and familiar, revealing a unique approach in the national and international artistic context.
