The Enlightenment that set the tone for the second half of the 18th century, the great ideas that opened doors to knowledge and understanding of the world, would not have been possible without an intimate and domestic sphere on which to rely. It was in the atmosphere of a salon and dialogue between confident minds that the Enlightenment was born. So, nothing better than listening to three examples of prolific authors in this aesthetic, whose music so well represents the values that shaped the Age of Enlightenment.
