“Trip to Pancaya” offers us a trip. A trip to that fantastic and utopian island where the human being was happy and lived in harmony, where the food and the roof were shared and the greatest treasure was laughter.
And that is how it is, at a time like this that we have been experiencing lately, when trips, celebrations and shared meals seem like memories from another world.
17th century characters, whose problems we will recognize as ours, in a proposal that goes far beyond theatrical reconstruction.
On this trip we are accompanied by Quiñones de Benavente, Agustín de Rojas, Juan del Encina, Quevedo, Calderón de la Barca, Cervantes and other anonymous authors from the 17th century.
On the stage we find, Commedia dell’Arte, farce, comedy, music, instruments, masks and period equipment.
