This cultural space intends to show the history of the city of Faro since its appearance, going through its post-earthquake rebirth of 1755 until the present day.
Why interpretive center?
Because in recent years, so-called digital media have been used more and more in the area of culture and educational institutions. Traditional media, such as animated illustrations and audio guides, together with interactive exhibitions using digital multimedia, have enabled the transfer of knowledge to a completely new level – new possibilities for presenting and experimenting knowledge, in an attractive way for the audience.
This monument of the city of Faro is the most famous architectural work of art, externally, but due to its requalification, from December 1, 2015 it can be visited internally.
