The Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen Municipal Library building consists of a basement, ground floor and first floor. Storage areas are located in the basement. On the ground floor there is the Reception, the photocopying and document printing service, the Multipurpose Room and Atrium, the Periodicals Area, the Audiovisual Area, the Cafeteria, the Garden and a reserved access area consisting of Offices Work Room and Document Processing Room. On the 1st floor are the Adult Area, the Children’s Area, the Baby Library, the Plastic Expression Studio and the Story Time Space.
