The Lagos Cultural Center is a cultural facility, located in the city of Lagos, in Portugal. It was opened on October 24, 1992. It occupies an 18th century building, known as Casa dos Ricos.
The Lagos Cultural Center is located on Rua Lançarote de Freitas, in the center of Lagos. It has three rooms for temporary exhibitions and another two for entertainment, an auditorium with capacity for approximately three hundred people, a cafeteria and an open courtyard. Originally it also had a library, space for a theater school, and a small group of apartments for workers, such as actors and visual artists. The auditorium, dedicated to director Duval Pestana,[4] was designed for medium-sized events, such as musical shows, congresses and conferences.
