The Convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo is located in the municipality of Lagoa, district of Faro, in Portugal.
Founded in 1550 by Pedro Fernando, registrar of the Câmara da Rainha D. Catarina, the Nossa Senhora do Carmo Convent is located about one kilometer E-SE from the city of Lagoa, in the Algarve. For many years it was the home of Carmelites Descalços, but when religious conventions were extinct, the Carmelites abandoned this space, leaving it to private entities.
