The history of football and hurling in Finglas and Fingal regions goes back beyond the founding of the GAA, in fact, records of matches between local teams exist as far back as the eighteenth century. It was 1917 that saw the foundations of Dublin’s celebrated Erin’s Isle, from whom all these years later, the divine inspiration for our famous Erin’s Isle Family Pub and Restaurant was drawn, and not forgetting, Dave and Ray played both Hurling and Football at all levels for Erin’s Isle.
