Inaugurated in June 1908, the Loulé Municipal Market is one of the best examples of revivalist architecture in the Algarve.
The project designed by Lisbon architect Alfredo Costa Campos features four pavilions with four gates and adopts the neo-Arab style.
This work was recently restored and modernized in order to allow the functioning of a municipal market with all the conditions of safety and hygiene, while maintaining the original architectural style.
