The Regional Museum of the Algarve has as its mission the investigation, conservation, documentation, valuation, dissemination, acquisition and dissemination of the material and immaterial testimonies of Man in the area of the municipality of Faro, in a regional perspective.
The thematic area that the Museum’s action is aimed at is Algarvian Culture, embodied in its various manifestations – material and immaterial.
