- Katia Alhandra
Born in Lisbon, but currently living in the Algarve. She began her career as a singer at the age of 16 in Lisbon, where she sang
fado and studies lyrical singing at the National Conservatory of Music in Lisbon. He participated in several artistic projects at that time, since
musical theater to voice and guitar shows. He completed the singing course at the Professional School of Music and Arts in Almada and at 23
years he moves to the Algarve. After a break from singing for a few years, she was invited to join the Fad`Nu voice and guitar project.
Portuguese with strong ties to the musical genre fado, who released her first song in 2014 "Guitarra Chora por mim"
. Participa
in several artistic projects with national and international collaborations with Fad`Nu, TerraXama, Orquestra de Sopros do Algarve,
Evil Cat, ACTA – The Algarve Theatre Company, Custodio Castelo, Jorge Palma, Berg -Teófilo Sonnenberg among others.
Having sung in several countries such as Azerbaijan, Spain, Morocco, Georgia.
- Jose Miguel Vieira
Musician born in Leiria currently living in the Sotavento Algarvio. He currently divides his professional activities as a pedagogue
and musician. This year he teaches electric and classical guitar at EMMS (musical training project of the Associação Recreativa e
Cultural Center of Musicians in Faro) and at the Regional Conservatory of Vila Real de Sto. Anthony. Previously he was a tutor on the Course
Jazz professional at the Escola da Bemposta in Portimão and taught at several music academies in the Lisbon and Leiria areas.
As a musician, he works as a freelancer on a wide range of musical projects in different styles, including rock, jazz, world music, etc. Before
After settling permanently in the Algarve, he worked on several projects in the Lisbon metropolitan area, where he recorded some albums and
performed throughout the country at festivals and concert halls, as well as abroad. Completed a degree in Jazz Guitar from ESML
in 2014 and a Master's Degree in Music Teaching in the Jazz field from the same institution in 2020. In addition to these activities, it promotes and
produces projects and events through regional cultural associations in Rio Grande do Sul.
-Louis Henry
Bassist, bassist and composer from Faro. With training in classical double bass, he has carried out his activity
musical in the most varied musical fields, from traditional Portuguese music and traditional music from other places to
jazz, in formats as diverse as duos and large jazz orchestras. Actively participates in several projects
originals and in the last decade has worked all over Europe in festivals, tours, recordings and collaborations with major
song names. A lover of everything that is Algarve, he spends his days orbiting coffee machines and always with the
focus on music.
- Francis Matas
Born in Ripollet, Barcelona, Francis Matas began playing drums professionally in 2006, with musicians and
bands like Dr. Fargo, S.ym, The Devil's Nephew; and in the Orchestra of El Gran Casino in Barcelona. From 2009 to 2012
collaborated with different bands such as The New Raemon (Marxphone / B-Core), David Ros (“Operación
Triunfo”Gestmusic), Mürfila (Sony Music), and Margarett (Warner Music), with whom he participated in several tours
Spain. In 2013 he moved to the United States (Boston, MA), where he worked with different bands, such as Bees
Deluxe and Billy Wylder, among others. Participated in the studio recordings of Billy's "Dawn Breaks over Mystic" albums
Dodge Moody and Bob Bradshaw's "Whatever You Wanted", the latter considered one of the greatest Country albums /
American of 2015 by The Telegraph, UK. Since 2016 he has lived in Faro, Portugal, where he made studio recordings with
bands and artists such as Fernando Leal, Entre Cantos, Bite The Blue Lemon, Argentina Freire, Ricardo J. Martins, among
others. He played live with several bands and artists from the Algarve, such as Filipa Sousa, Yuca, Gonçalo Mendes, Ana Tereza,
Infante, Vilamoura Casino Orchestra, among others. He currently plays drums and percussion with Cátia Alhandra, João
Guitar, Ricardo J. Martins and Nelson Conceição. In addition, he also works as a music teacher (AECs) in
several schools in Faro and as a drum teacher privately and at the Faro Philharmonic Association.
