Contrapeso Festival

On the 1st day of December, and the last day of December, the morning of December is dedicated to the youngest in the area, with the show 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱á (𝟭𝟭𝗵𝟬𝟬), a solo by dancer and puppeteer 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗼𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝘀 who, in this sensorial and intimate work without resorting to In other words, it seeks, through puppets and animated forms, to investigate the hidden and mysterious universe of nature.

For the 𝟭𝟳𝗵𝟬𝟬, the 𝗖𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗼 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗼 receives 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗹𝗱𝗲’ 𝗝. 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗶𝗮, Spanish multidisciplinary artist recognized for his in-depth exploration of butoh dance, with 𝗶𝗠𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗮𝟮. 𝗗𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮 𝗟𝗼𝘂𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗮, a disturbing interactive experience, in which the audience becomes the architect of madness in an experience that explores the limits of the human mind.

The closing show takes place at 𝟭𝟵𝗵𝟬𝟬, at 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁ó𝗿𝗶𝗼 𝗱𝗼 𝗦𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗱𝗮 𝗠ú𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗮 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗮, with a solo show by 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝗕𝗲𝗺 𝗘𝘇𝗿𝗮, bassist who explores the limits of this instrument, through the intersection between jazz, world music and electronics.

Over the course of 4 days, the 4th edition of the Contrapeso Festival, titled different spaces – Cineteatro Louletano, Auditorium of Solar da Música Nova, Casa da Mákina, Casa da Cultura de Loulé and Bafo de Baco.
