Within the scope of the DiVaM 2020 Program – Promotion and Valorization of Monuments, this year with the theme “Human Rights, Equality and Non-Discrimination”, the Question Repeated – Associação Cultural presents Elements II on October 4, 2020 in the Fortaleza de Sagres, by 5 pm. This project is the second part of a cycle of creations that result from reflection on the Algarve. It is a multidisciplinary project that links Popular and Classical music and aims to honor the Algarve and reflect the dichotomy between the past and the present, addressing the Elements as the common basis of all history. Cross photography, through the lens of Jorge Marques; video, in a collection by the Algarve visual artist Jorge Graça; word in Ana Falé’s voice; and music by Ensemble Armilar, directed by harpsichordist Elsa Mathei and musicians Rui Afonso on traditional percussion, and Ana Figueiras on the flute, featuring pieces by the Lacobringense composer João Pacheco.
