ESTOJO is an artistic mediation project promoted by LAMA Teatro, whose primary objective is to involve and empower young people, using performing arts as a means. With the development of this initiative, it is intended that participants have access and the possibility of acquiring tools that can contribute to the performance of an active and productive role within their community and society in general.
The ESTOJO initiative is based on the creation of a theater group made up of young people, aged between 13 and 18, where artistic training will be provided, based on the different theater disciplines: orality, movement, creativity, improvisation, imagination, listening, among others. In this way, the aim is to create a platform for critical thinking about contemporaneity and the issues that affect us.
The works to be developed will be coordinated by LAMA Teatro and guided by a local cultural and artistic organization.
The final result of the Case is intended to be presented at MOCHILA – International Theater Festival for Children and Youth 2023.
