lgarve Camerata in residence… at the Church of São Sebastião de Lagos Autumn season 2023, ends with the concert by soloists. After three concerts this season, and with the participation of the Santa Maria Choir, this concert will be on December 17th, Sunday, at 7pm at the Church of São Sebastião de Lagos. With soloists Gabriela Magalhães, Esmeralda Martins, Federica Acetosi, Carolina Vieira, Catherine Francis, Pedro Sá, Bruno Martins, Catarina Putzger and João Pedro Cunha, the public will be treated to works by J.S.Bach, A.Vivaldi, E.Morricone, C .Saint-Saens, F. Kreisler and in the debut, J.Miguel Cunha.

The “Art Reef by Vhils” exhibition is marked by a buoy (coordinates: N 37.06922391, W -8.20990784) and can be visited by any diver, and must be accompanied by a technician, after obtaining insurance and a liability waiver, to be signed with companies associated with the project, which can be consulted through the EDP virtual page, as well as other information (https://www.edp.com/pt-pt/edp-art-reef) This project was developed with the support of Albufeira City Council, Turismo de Portugal, CCMar (University of Algarve), among others, and validated by the General Directorate of Natural Resources and the Portuguese Environment Agency, as well as other competent entities. In turn, the submersion of the exhibition was licensed by the Institute for Nature and Forest Conservation and the National Maritime Authority.

Exhibition “A More Ecological Christmas In Albufeira” From 2 to 30 December 2023 Painter Samora Barros Art Gallery Exhibition of works, carried out by the school public and users of Homes and Day Centers in Albufeira with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of reusing materials, applied to the creation of traditional Christmas decorations, using the 3R’s technique – Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. These actions aim to instill a more ecological awareness, contributing to the preservation of natural resources and the enhancement of individual or group creative capacity and, in this case, to beautify the city during the Christmas season. This Project is developed in partnership with Luságua, the Portuguese Environment Agency/Administration of the Algarve Hydrographic Region and the General Directorate of School Establishments/Services Directorate of the Algarve Region. Monday to Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Closed on Sundays and holidays.

The “Al-gharb Serene” exhibition invites viewers to immerse themselves in the palettes of soft and tranquil tones that dominate this region. The artist seeks to capture the essence of Algarve serenity through her canvases and drawings. The Algarve landscapes known for their golden beaches and deep blue sea are transformed into tranquil visions where the setting sun paints the sky in soft orange, pale pink and pastel blue tones. The warm colors of summer give way to cool, calming hues that invite reflection.
