Project to Combat Violence in Dating
– “Amar-te e Respectar-te” – presented in Castro Marim
The Municipality of Castro Marim, in collaboration with Associação Odiana and within the scope of the CLDS 4G project, brought together students from the 3rd cycle of the Grouping of Schools today to attend the pedagogical project “Amar-te e Respeitar-te”, which aims to goal of combating dating violence.
“Amar-te e Respectar-te” presented a book dedicated to the theme and brought to the stage the rapper Jimmy P., with original themes composed for the project – “Ficar bem”, “When it goes wrong” and “Como tu”. A play was also presented, as well as three fictional stories about cases of dating violence, inspired by three different realities – the male victim, the female victim and a dating relationship lived in the virtual world.
Training and equipping young people with tools for the diagnosis and prevention of aggressive behavior in dating relationships, of their own and their peers, is one of the main purposes of the project, which raises awareness of the different forms of violence, namely verbal, psychological, relational. , physical and sexual.
