The Figo Lampo Association will be hosted next weekend by Lama Teatro, with the children’s project “The Writer Bird”, which combines poetry with classical and jazz music. A project created by the performer Maria Adelaide Fonseca and the pianist Ricardo Coelho, both with over 20 years of experience in artistic and educational projects for children.
Since its debut on the 10th of February 2019 in co-production with Teatro das Figuras, until now, this show has passed through several schools, libraries, book fairs and music festivals. In this project, the poems of Fernando Pessoa, Cecília Meireles, Manuel António Pina, José Fanha, Luísa Ducla Soares, Álvaro Magalhães, among others, enter into dialogue with the works of composers such as Frédéric Chopin, Arvo Part, W.A.Mozart, William Gillock, Heitor Villa -Wolves, Debussy among others too.
A show taking place in a double dose at Lama Black Box (Travessa Castilho nr16) in the city of Faro, on the 7th of May, at 16:00h and on the 8th of May, at 11:00h.

The work of Associação Figo Lampo, based in Querença, is based on artistic multidisciplinarity promoting communication between culture, environment, education and the community, essentially in low-density territories. He has extensive experience in literary, artistic and educational projects for children and their families, video-performances and eco-design, being a structure supported by the Municipality of Loulé and occasionally by DGArtes and the Portuguese Republic.
