At the intersection of art, body, and transformation, Baubo is born, a contemporary dance performance directed and choreographed by Sofia Brito, created within the Artist-Mother project.
The stage welcomes a collective of female artists—daughters, mothers, creators—at turning points in their lives, reinventing themselves through motherhood, desire, and pain.
The womb goddess Baubo emerges as a revelation: she emerged from the body and the creative process as a presence coming from a deep and instinctive place.
An archetypal figure who defies silence and gives voice to the multiple layers of the feminine experience.
She emerges as a body that laughs, gestates, suffers, dances, and ultimately, reclaims the wild—the natural state.
