The building is located in Praça do Município,[1] in an area that, in addition to being an important communications hub, has also established itself as a hub for urban renewal.[2] Thus, it was planned by the company Progitape to express these two realities through its facades, with the west side presenting a more urban and massive concrete format, representing the earth, while the east side mainly uses wood, in allusion to the sea. The most prominent element in the property is the volume of the auditorium/noble hall, which stands out towards the square, in an approximation of the public function between the interior and exterior.
