The Jam Session at Clube de Tavira assumes a classic profile, referring to Jazz, however, as the term itself indicates, it promotes the fusion and mixture of styles. It is based on improvisation, with the common participation of musicians who are invited to go on stage. The atmosphere is relaxed and the music unrepeatable, making each JAM a moment of unique combinations, the result of which is always different.
Guitarist, guitarist, bassist and music producer, Tuniko Goulart was born in Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil in 1967. Coming from a family of musicians, he was recognized by the Order of Brazilian Professional Musicians, at just 11 years old, a fact that himself reveals his talent. There were many years in which he traveled through Brazil, Uruguay and Argentina, accompanying big names on the international scene. On tours and in the recording studio, there are several musicians with whom he is proud to have collaborated and who do not spare him praise, with phrases such as: “…excellent guitarist…”,…extraordinary composer…”, “…brilliant musician…”, are absolutely common when talking about Tuniko Goulart. Music for you is the eternal path. Gilberto Gil, Martinho da Vila, Airto Moreira, Arthur Maia, Flora Purim, Vicente Amigo, Standley Jordan, Jeff Berlin, Eric Sardinas, Cesária Évora, António Chainho, Giovani Goulart, Filipa Pais, André Sarbib, Isabel Campelo, Rui Veloso, Edu Miranda and Madonna are some of the names with whom he has collaborated or continues to collaborate throughout his life and they never tire of confirming his indisputable talent.
